SLACKER!!! SORRY!!! :(

I know I've been a slacker on blogging the happenings on the remodel so here's a little update. I'M TIRED AND MY BACK HURTS!!! All the "stuff/crap" that has been stored in every nook, cranny, available space (including air space) has had to be hauled back to the original starting place and vacuumed, rinsed and fumigated from all the sheet rock and sawdust. All of the kitchen belongings of course we're downstairs where my "make do" kitchen was located. As of this writing most of the kitchen is back in place. I had the achievement day girls over yesterday and we made cupcakes it was quite a challenge locating mixers, bowls, oil and cupcake pans. I have organized myself so well that I can't find anything. I have a working refrigerator, stove, sink, microwave and oven. The granite and back splash are stunning, the cabinets are amazing and the wood floor is perfect. The cabinet guys will come tomorrow to put in the other trash bin, fix some soft close doors, replace some doors that I simply can't live with all the knots, put on the remaining crown molding and do some touch up. I'm pretty sure the electricians are done after seeing their bill and being charged for all the call backs of things "they" missed I'll have Buck my home teacher/electrician finish the rest. Chad Stephens & co are coming today to install the laundry room countertops and all the windowsills which I had to replace due to new shutters!! Tomorrow Kory Drake & co will come and install the new intercom system; add speakers in the new addition and retrofit the old speakers to the new system. Later on I will add a receiver that will put a new sound system on my north and south patios.....but money demands that I wait on that little perk!! (so I just had the rough wiring installed).
The outside of the house looks even more amazing (if that could even be possible)Blair Osborn (the painter) came last Friday to finish up and finally the new glass for the front door arrived that I had been waiting on for six weeks (the original one came broken). Blair and I were talking and I asked him what color the door/garage should be painted and he thought he would do wood grain, which I promptly told him that was what everyone else does and that it didn't say "WOW". He told me that if I wanted "WOW" I needed to paint it black........so I DID!!! And it says "WOW". Now if I could just get Reno to move his tool trailer and dumpster so everyone would know what "WOW looks like!!
My shower door is the coolest thing EVER!!! It's a Euro door that doesn't have a frame it hangs on huge hinges and swings both ways (no pun intended), the glass is called "rain" and is possibly on the top ten list of my favorite things about my remodel!
I "misplaced" my camera and was too lazy to look all over the house for it but found it yesterday so I will try and take pictures tonight and post I know y'all can't wait!!!! That is if someone will bring me by some
Lortab, Valium, muscle relaxers or whatever it is that people take for pain!! Maybe if I could just find my Ibuprofen that would help ( I know it's in a box somewhere) !!!
