M I A

I know I've been "missing in action" but this has been my life for the past few weeks. Sewing, feeding 150 kids, sewing, creating yards of curtains, sewing, begging for donations and did I mention sewing. Russ Saxton (the director) stopped one day looked under the sewing machine and said, "Good, the ball and chain is still there!"
Belle Andrus and I have literally lived at the school (you can verify that by looking at our houses). It has been such a great experience getting to know the kids and seeing how hard they work and how determined they are to please Mr. Saxton who they affectionally call "Sir." Someone even made him his legendary bib overalls that say SIR!
The opening night was last night and I still have some more touch ups today and need to make sloppy joes for 150 for tomorrow......gotta run!!!!
