I LOVE conference weekend and spending time with my family, I was so glad that Garret (1 T), Ashley and Whitney could make it home.
Saturday I had a lot of calls, flowers, gifts and kind words given to me by my amazing friends, Garrett's friends and my family. It has been 3 years since Garrett's death, and because of all of you and your amazing capacity to love and care my "burden is light." My love for each of you and the strength you give me is unmeasurable.
Saturday night we had a bridal shower for Sara Holt (my nephew Jeff's bride to be). They are a pretty famous couple having made the KSL news and the Spectrum with Jeff's wedding proposal of mowing "Sara Will You Marry Me" in one of our fields in Pine Valley. She is such a cute girl and we can all see why Jeff is so happy and in love, they will be getting married in the SG Temple on November 7, 2009. Welcome to the family Sara!!
Conference was pretty powerful and impressive, of course one of our favorite speakers is Jeff Holland a relative and Pine Valley boy. If you don't know how Elder Holland feels about the Book of Mormon after his talk you really weren't listening. Can I just say "WOW." The girls and I made watch bands, necklaces, bracelets and earrings we had so much fun and are so fashionable!! The Queens of multitasking!! Fashionable and Spiritual!!
One of these days I'm going to figure out this picture thing--but not today!!
