This last weekend my high school girlfriends went to my place in Pine Valley I told them that I couldn't be there the whole time and they promptly told me that they really didn't need ME!!! Which BTW you do....who's going to be the "boss" if I'm not there. L to R Teresa (Reber) Woods, Myrna (Leavitt) Miller, Wendy (Hardy) Spencer, Janece (Houston) Gardner, Athella (Mull) Goodman....we are missing Lori (Johnson)Singer, Deon (Reber) Felshaw and Alisia (Hardy) Mast. All but 2 started Kindergarten together, Athella and Teresa came along later...of course we have plenty of pictures to document our childhood, elementary and high school lives and my friends LOVE me so much that they wanted to give me a very special gift. So here's the story, when Teresa and I were talking I asked her what they were going to give me because the last friends that stayed at my place bought me a BBQue Grill, so I get there on Saturday and they present me with my gift. To give you a little background we have a boy in our class (who will remain nameless) that has been with us since Kindergarten and that we pretty much all despise, he has done many evil things to members of his family and the community. Somehow his name always comes up when were together and there's always funny comments. Wendy went to Senior Ball with him and we still won't let her forget it. Well my so called "friends" finds a fourth grade picture of me (looking very homely-thanks mom) and the unnamed boy standing next to each other, so the "freak girls" blow it up and add the text "two little love birds sitting in a tree" and frame it. I nearly peed my pants laughing, well really we all did (weak bladder syndrome) (I know Ash TMI). The saying "Old Friends are the Best Friends" is really true!!(longevity not age)I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!

PS I did go to kindergarten with ya all for a couple months while my father was overseas. I vaguely remember it cuz I was traumatized that I didn't have a blanket for nap time. I also went to the last part of first grade with Anne Hughes. The only grade I completely missed in Mesquite was 2nd. There you go add that to your book of trivia!!! LOL
