Last night I hosted Rook Club at my house. There are 15 fabulous girls that get together once a month to play cards, laugh, eat, share ideas, talk about our kids accomplishments, sign petitions, campaign for each other and laugh so hard that the bathroom is used alot. Since I'm the official club photographer and it's been a long time since we've had this many of us together I decided to do a photo shoot. This club started in Washington over 30 years ago with a group of friends and sisters. I don't know all the history but when I became friends with Laurie some 25 years ago she started inviting me to come and then I started helping here with hers and then a couple of girls dropped out and I was inducted into the famous "Washington Girls Rook Club." It is the funnest group of women and I'm so happy to be friends with them.
