BACK TO NORMAL (well sort of)

So this is what my house looked like pre-wedding day. For journaling purposes (and this is about all I do) I will record the moments.

The flowers came three days before they were suppose to so I was babying the hydrangeas every day talking, bathing, feeding, changing diapers oops I mean water I only lost six of them which was nothing short of a miracle so I'm told.

I set the backdrop up in my dining room and my dear, sweet, cute, talented friend Athella came and spent 4 hours decorating, undecorating, decorating, gazing, rethinking the design until I was about to shoot her....that's why her blog is OCDesigner...I get it now! But it turned out beautiful, we set it behind the book table and it was absolutely stunning.

Now the tablecloths are a whole different matter, I thought I was being so thrifty when Jordan and Whit got married. I researched, called and got rental prices and decided that since I would be having 4 weddings that I would save money buying them. True, I did save money but the thought of washing and ironing 15 - 120" round tablecloths two more times makes me want to "VOMIT" enough said!

I was given the beautiful topiary trees from my friend Becky about six years ago, one pot was broken so it had been living out in the garage and the other one was downstairs just collecting dust because it was so freakin' heavy to move. Mike told me they had great pots at Big Lots and he was right. He helped me (okay he did it) break off the old pots, repot them and spray the expandable foam around them. It was seriously an hour job that has taken six years to finish. YES one more project of the list! And they look great in my house!

Pictures, pictures, pictures....many of you know our family is obsessed with taking pictures, my girls even carry their cameras in their purses. There were so many cute ones to choose from that I had to frame them all.

The wedding turned out beautiful thanks to all of my friends and Mike's family who came that day and helped me pull it all together!
