I came home from a 5 mile walk with my friend Marci and a guy up the street was aerating my neighbors lawn. I really hate aerating and the little dog droppings (I have enough of those from Duke) but I love having my lawn thatched and all that dead grass GONE! So I proceeded to convince him to go home get his thatcher and only charge me $25 which he did-so long as "I" raked it all up and bagged it. Sure that would be great 11 lawn and leaf bags and six hours later my lawn looked/looks AMAZING! I even went to Lowe's and got fertilizer to give it a little more boost..hopefully it will be green and lovely for the beautiful May garden reception....(what I won't do for my kids!!)
