Didn't take any pictures yesterday so decided to blog about my much needed bigger laundry room. In my old laundry room on the left notice the lovely first color of the original paint it was actually called antique white, antique being the key word I think. Also when you put the ironing board down it set on top of the dryer so you had to curve it to iron and if someone was ironing you couldn't get to the back door. All the brooms, mops etc had to go to the side of the dryer no closet for them. No hanging for clothes that you didn't dry that was what I used door jambs for.
In the "new and improved" laundry room there will be several added features along the left wall there will be cabinets above the full length to the sewing closet, a lower cabinet then the washer & dryer, next a pull through laundry hamper that will pull from my bathroom on one side and the laundry room on the other side (shout out to Chad Stephens for that amazing idea), and then the sewing closet that is a duplicate of the one I had and once again will be "new and improved." On the right side will be a floor to ceiling closet (yeah) to hold brooms, mops, vacuums and hoses, a tall counter for folding and sewing projects, above the counter is a wood valance that hides the rod for hanging and then the ironing board that hopefully won't hit the dryer when in use. All the ceilings in the addition are 9' which adds in my case 2 more feet of cabinet space to EVERY upper cabinet, because of the dropped soffit that I had everywhere!

Your house is looking so good!!! I hope you'll give me a tour when it is all done. I love your flowers in the front yard. BEAUTIFUL!! Let us know if you need any landscaping help. Jason does landscape curbing also!!
When you talk about changes, you really mean it. That'll be fun. We'll look forward to seeing it all done when we're down next. Have fun with the dust:)
