I couldn't decide what to do here. Originally we were going to put railing but it wasn't "screaming" and if you know me it has to be "screaming I LOVE it" before I move on. So I decided to go with a small wall and told Reno to decide. This is what they did and of course once again "I love it and yes it's screaming" instead of the one light on the left we will move that and put 2 can lights and it will scream even louder!! And now it serves several purposes..covers up the top of the stairs better, puts a brace up to support the trusses, and creates a much needed space to put the switches that I will need for the stairs and dining room!!!

that will make a nice window for a family portrait on the wall right there or maybe wall lettering... or maybe both!
