These guys are amazing, I don't know if anyone that has worked on my house has worked as hard as these guys (excluding Reno & Co of course). This is Randy Harris and his two sons from High Desert Hardwood Floors. Because I had to match the wood (an older post)I was worried about it looking like it was old and new pieced together, they have done such an amazing job that it all looks brand new!!! (Except for the hall which someone did a few years ago that still looks disgusting) They sanded all day Monday and most of the day yesterday and was staining until 10:00 last night when they finally got it all finished. They will put one coat of the sealant on today and let it dry and then put two coats on the den and laundry room on Thursday so that can dry over the weekend and hopefully I can move things back into the den and get my WASHER and DRYER back.....(say a prayer for me on that one). I will have to wait for the other two coats on the rest of the floor until the first of May the cabinets need to be installed first and they will be gone to California for a week.Todays happenings...the rock should be finished with all the mortar (it is turning brown/purplish but I can live with it)...my master and "overflow" closets will be installed today...the master bedroom carpet will be installed tomorrow if all goes well. (another prayer)
